18MB down and 12MB up is quite an improvement over 3G speeds.

I ran this speed test in Harrisonburg, despite the fact that it is labeled "Washington, DC" on the app.  I suppose Harrisonburg is a part of Verizon Wireless' Washington DC network now.

You do, of course, need to have a device capable of running on the new 4G (LTE) network.
