There are a LOT of homes for sale right now....995 residential properties in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County as I type. BUT.... the current levels aren't too much higher than we've seen during the past two spring/summer seasons! Click the graph above to view a higher resolution PDF. Peak Inventory Levels: Current inventory = 995 residential properties June 2008 inventory = 956 residential properties April/June 2009 inventory = 932 residential properties I suppose we might see even higher inventory levels as we move into June (CAN WE HIT 1,000???) --- but that still isn't too much higher than recently past years. If you're a buyer....what is your experience of the current inventory? Are there way too many houses to choose from right now? Can you still not find that perfect home despite many choices?
