Strong Sales Year for Duplexes, Townhouses, Condos

As shown above, this has been a strong year for "attached home sales" -- which includes duplexes, townhomes and condominiums -- but does not include single family detached homes.... In only 10 months (Jan-Oct) we have seen 316 sales thus far in 2017, as compared to 331 in the full 12 months of last year. As such, it seems likely, or almost certain, that we'll surpass last year's sales pace. After two years without an increase in the median sales price of these homes, it appears we may be poised to see a 6.3% increase in the median sales price of these properties in 2017.
