Consider Purchasing a Home Warranty Depending on the Age of the Systems of the Home

What is a Home Warranty? A home warranty one-year service agreement that covers the repair or replacement of many major home system components and appliances that typically break down over time due to normal wear and tear. One company that many of my clients have used for a Home Warranty is American Home Shield. They offer several plan options: Systems Plans (Heating, AC, Electrical, Plumbing, etc.) Appliances Plan (just the appliances) Combo Plan (both of the above) Build Your Own Plan (just what you select) If you're buying a brand new home, you likely don't need a Home Warranty. If you're buying a home where the heat pump, appliances and water heater have just been replaced, you probably don't need a Home Warranty.
