Finalize Financing
Your lender will need to receive a copy of the ratified sales contract as well as other pertinent documents to finalize your loan. Stay in contact with your lender to make sure they have all necessary documents and that they are moving forward with your loan.
The lender will order your appraisal and prepare a new Good Faith Estimate of your settlement charges.
Once your lender has issued you a commitment letter, do not change lenders without first discussing the situation with your Buyers Representative. Changing lenders at this point creates the possibility of not being able to meet your closing date or defaulting on your financing.
